Description
To install a locking tube, the supplied adapter must first be screwed onto the thread of the piston rod. The tube can then be pushed back over the thread of the adapter and then tightened with the lock nut provided.
The 14-28 Stroke 400 gas spring, together with the locking tube, has the same length as the 14-28-400 Long (namely 896 mm from thread to thread). Therefore, you can buy it as a set: one 14-28 stroke 400 with locking tube and one 14-28 stroke 400 Long. This way, you only need one locking tube for your hatch.
