Needed to find equivalent part to one taken off horse box. They were very helpful in finding exact equivalent and order delivered very quickly.

Itwas promissed next day delivery. Friday it was not delivered. Now I'm waiting.

Gas spring appears well made and of good quality. Website easy to navigate & order. Shipping was super fast. Price is what I would expect for a high quality spring. On the down side, the gas spring I received felt a little gritty in certain positions on movement Not sure if this could be a possibility of seal sticking/lubrication, possibility been on shelf a while. However it does feel a bit metallic in these positions & so feels like a much cheaper spring. Unfortunately due to the nature of gas springs I am unable to use lubricants. Because of this I will unfortunately have to score down. Order:- WS28529GB

I needed some replacement gas struts for an old toolbox but didn't have the original struts, all i had was closed and open sizes but the two website simulators showing the open closing sizes , how they would work with the weight of the lid and positioning of the struts is absolutely brilliant

I needed to replace and Air Spring made by Eckold France in 2002. I was able to provide full details including the original part number. After two emails 24 hours apart I was told that Eckold UK is a different company and that Eckold UK had no reference to the part number. I was, however sent a proforma invoice quoting £253.79 including VAT and delivery with delivery promised within 10 weeks of payment . This was clearly too slow for me to go sailing this week (the spring was for my boat) so I looked elsewhere (or so I thought). I found gasspringshop.co.uk via AI search. Their website was well organised. It had a configuration utility which allowed me to specify a suitable spring easily and although it was not identical I was able to order one that would meet the case from stock with next working day delivery for £57.16 including VAT and delivery. Needless to say I ordered and paid immediately. When this afternoon DHL appeared I was more than baffled to find the air spring they delivered wrapped in Eckold UK tape! The air spring appeared to be the one I had been quoted for by Eckold UK. I spent some time worrying about what was going on and was about to ring Eckold to try and sort out what was going on when I found at the very bottom of the airspringshop.co.uk invoice that they were run by Eckold UK!! So after a lot of effort and some anxiety I have the air spring that I needed - but what a shambles. Just as a postscript I would add that I had no tracking data from gas spring shop/Eckold or anticipated delivery notice from DHL which would have been useful. My statement that I would recommend gas spring shop is based on outcome rather than process. For process two stars is generous. Tomorrow I can get away from paperwork and communications with considerable relief and get on with fitting the spring which I could have done on Thursday or Friday last week (now Monday) had Eckold responded properly to my first email to them on Tuesday.

Ordered gas struts to lift a heavy Oak Lid weighting almost 20kg. After measuring and weighing as instructed by the website it calculated everything for me which is a lot better than ordering online. Followed the instructions and the lid works perfectly. Only reason for 4 stars is the delivery via DHL didn't deliver and I had to get it re directed to a parcel shop which was very annoying!

I never leave reviews but I had to here. The design tool is excellent. All the information you need is there in varying detail depending on how much you understand/care. The choice of fixings is good. The product was well packaged and came very quickly. It was easy to fit with the design they send with the product. The product is of very good quality. Very few companys are this good.

Excellent experience again. I have created toy boxes for my grandchildren. I fit gas struts so the lids do not trap little fingers. The 'strut calculator' is fantastic and you can order with confidence and know that the strut will fit and operate as necessary. Delivery is prompt and without issue.

I have some 20 year old roof lights and the gas springs have gone soft. I took a photo of the numbering on the old struts and spoke to customer support. I emailed the photo and 15 minutes later was sent a link to the replacement struts. I ordered them and they arrived the next day. Fitted in about 15 minutes and the roof light now stays open

Contacted the company on two occasions by phone with a query and received answers and helpful information each time regarding purchase. Not really knowing what i needed i visited you website after a Google search. Very easy to navigate the site and easily found the exact replacement for a gas strut i required. Excellent service and a fast dispatch meant it was fitted kn my boat within 3 days.

Speedy and hassle free refund of the order I got wrong.

The ends of my original strut were flat and welded on the rod but the replacement had shoulders on the eyelets as they were screw on. Quick file stopped it catching on the pivot frame and everything is fine now. Good price and quick delivery.
