Quick order fulfilment but think the packer was in too much of a hurry as was sent a 50N gas strut in place of the 30N one that I’d ordered. Packing slip was correct with order though!

The parts came promptly within a few days, fitted with ease and work perfectly.

The website spring calculator and back-up information was all that was needed to obtain the exact springs for my application. The strengths were automatically calculated using the information input and once ordered these were delivered the following day. They now work perfectly and look great too!

We needed more powerful gas struts for our Motorhome bed, as the custom-made mattress for my wife's back problem is twice the weighr of the standard model. Although I'm very practical I have zero experience of gas springs. I used their form to explain the problem, and we stopped by yesterday as agreed. Dave was brilliant in working out exactly what we needed, assembling the components to get the right length and getting it gassed to the right pressure. Terrific and much appreciated service from a gas strut novice!

Very easy to order though lots of disclaimers on them being non-refundable so I followed the measurement process to calculate the correct size and took a chance! They are half the size of the previous ones and too small to hold the bed up.

I needed to replace 2 gas struts in old kitchen bifold Cabinet doors. It took a while to find a specialist who could exactly match the brand and size of gas strut I had even though the old manufacturer had ceased production.they fit perfectly and work as good as new.

I measured carefully both before ordering and during installation but the strut length is slightly out - the calculator said I'd have 10mm unused strut length, I've actually got zero (the entire rod goes back into the barrel with nothing left outside). But it's *just* about fine - the lid closes well enough. What I'm very pleased with though is that the weight of the lid closing & opening is pretty much perfect - I was concerned about this as it's the first time I've used gas struts and they're not cheap! In the end I'm happy with the result.

I wasn’t too sure what I needed, with help from David Chapman and their excellent calculations chart, the gas struts I ordered have worked 100% as I wanted them to.

Looking at a couple of sites to find one that made it clear how to select a gas spring and Gasspringsshop was the clearest and best to use providing instant product choice. Gas spring supplied was of good quality and well made.
